Diet and exercise are only two parts of Jacquelyn's weight loss program. Successfully dealing with the stress that leads to overeating is
another. Read on for more of Jacquelyn's story and some of her weight loss tips.
-What finally made you decide to start with a weight loss program?
I was tired of feeling unsexy and tired of the way my clothes fit.
-What type of weight loss program are you following? The constantly preached Diet and Exercise method. I also added
food journaling to the regimen. I use Fitday.com for that.
-Why did you choose this weight loss program?
I chose this method because I don't believe in popping pills and I wanted to lose weight the healthier, safer way.
-How long have you been on your weight loss program?
Since March of 2006 to September of 2006. After I started back to college last fall I have not been able to handle the stress of taking
care of home and school, so I started slacking off on my diet and exercise routine. School will be over within the next week, so I will start
back on my program. In the meantime I will see if smooth jazz will aid in relieving stress :-)
-What kinds of physical activities do you like doing to help you lose weight and stay fit? I like Billy Blanks Tae
Bo and walking.
-What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome or are still overcoming?
I’m still trying to overcome turning to food when I get stressed.
-How do you keep yourself motivated? Sometimes looking at my progress on fitday.com keeps me motivated.
-Do you have any weight loss tips for our readers?
Lose weight the safe way with diet and exercise, and seek methods to relieve stress, smooth jazz maybe ;-)
-Do you think it will be easy to fall back into your old lifestyle pattern? How do you prevent this from happening?
After being on this program for so long, I have been able to pinpoint what triggers me to overeat--stress. So I plan to get help with dealing
with it.
-Do you have a favorite Web site or blog that helps or inspires you to lose weight? Yes I do:
